Shinsho & Smile Desserts Now at GR.ID Mall

The growing band of food and beverage outlets at GR.ID now includes Shinsho Ramen and Smile Dessert.

Here's a look at what you can feast upon at the mall:
* Chops Grills & Sides: Western-style cuisine, steaks, chops and grills
* Kamikaze Asian Tapas Bar: Asian tapas and skewers, Shibuya toast and sake
* Xiao Mu Deng Hotpot: Chongqing-style Sichuan mala hot pots and soups
* Isshin Machi: Modern Taiwanese cuisine and signature chewy noodles
* Shinsho Ramen: Japanese ramen noodles, soups and side dishes
* Smile Dessert: Chinese-style desserts and cakes with toppings
* Thai Street By Gu Thai: Thai street food and boat noodles

There's also a Shine Korea supermarket.

Further F&B outlets to open soon include: Shake Shake in a Tub, House on the Moon, Kung Fu Tea, Mmeow, Super Coco, Gotcha Fresh Tea, Out of the Bun and Icebar.

GR.ID is located along Selegie Road, just off the southern end of the Orchard Road shopping district.

Backstory:
The revamped mall features a statement 5-metre wide triple height social staircase to link lesiure and F&B outlets in the basement to the rest of the building.

Alongside the Tetris blocks and the staircase, the transformation includes hangout social spaces, better use of void areas, new entrances and facilities.

The GR.ID name is a play on the 'Tetris' look of the building, with its exterior modular square volumes reminiscent of the blocks of the infamous computer game of the same name, and is designed to encompass a convergence of work, life and play, and targets millenials and Gen Z for a youthful lifestyle experience.

GR.ID plays to the cultural and educational nature of the Selegie area, which is home to the likes of the School of Arts and a Singapore Management University campus, and is within easy walking distance of the Bencoolen, Dhoby Ghaut & Bras Basah MRT stations.

Previous names for the building include PoMo and the Paradiz Centre.
